off of amazon, i don’t know much about ram and didn’t know 1600 MHz is faster. Ful l retail versions should come with iLife 09. I ordered some new ram for my mac mini mid 2011, Timetec Hynix IC Apple Compatible 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3 1333MHz PC3-10600 SODIMM.

After you install the memory, confirm that your Mac mini sees the new memory. Reconnect the power cable and any other cables you disconnected. Rotate the cover clockwise to lock it in place. Replace the bottom cover using the alignment dots to place it in the unlocked position.
